Art Beyond Boundaries is the title of the booth concept for this year’s presentation by Galerie Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen at Art Cologne, which aligns with the title of the current exhibition at La Galleria, the Venice branch of the renowned Mainz art gallery.
Eight artists from six countries express their visual contributions to this special fair presentation in highly diverse ways. The works on display appeal to the senses and open up new perspectives. Beauty becomes a vehicle through which new awareness can emerge. Art is beauty; ugliness is illustration. The power of beauty can raise people’s awareness and contribute to peaceful coexistence – especially across cultures, as in this exhibition.
