Association of Women Entrepreneurs visiting Venice

Gallerist and art historian Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen invited members of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Germany (VdU) to visit her in the city on the lagoon and explore the city’s cultural offerings together, including, not least, the 61st Art Biennale as well as the grand exhibition on occasion of the 25 year gallery anniversary of La Galleria Venezia entitled Art Beyond Boundaries.

The three-day program – featuring stops such as the Kosuth and Lee Ufan exhibitions, many exciting Biennale pavilions, and, of course, the highly acclaimed exhibition by Mainz-based paper artist Lore Bert in the Church of San Fantin entitled Towards the Light – had plenty to offer and delighted not only the art lover but also the palate.

Using photos provided by the participants and the gallerist, we’ve put together a short film capturing impressions of this wonderful weekend, which showcases both the joyful camaraderie and the diverse offerings of the Biennale. We hope that watching it – dear friends of Galerie Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen – brings you just as much joy as it did for the participants in Venice.
