Last weekend, we celebrated the opening of our new Megert exhibition entitled Spiegelbilder (Reflections) at the Cadoro Center for Art and Science in Mainz. A select circle of art lovers who appreciate the fascinating spatial effects of Megert’s art gathered and listened intently to the captivating lecture by cultural journalist Michael Hübl, who, in his usual eloquent and entertaining, yet highly knowledgeable manner, expertly contextualized the work and influence of the Swiss artist and jubilarian.

Following the vernissage, Megert, who is still productive at the age of 90, enjoyed his birthday cake, and the assembled art lovers ended the wonderful day with a dinner together and lively conversations about art in the bazaar area of the Cadoro Center for Art and Science. We would like to thank all our friends of art who spent this memorable day with us, and for those who unfortunately could not be there, we have recorded the opening speeches on video.
