Last weekend, the long-awaited Venice Gallery Weekend took place in the city on the lagoon. The city’s galleries were open and drew visitors with a wide variety of events. Naturally, La Galleria Venezia participated in this event with a highly anticipated artist talk.
As announced in our newsletter of February 19, 2026, we were able to secure the young artist duo Carolin Liebl & Nikolas Schmid-Pfähler for an exclusive artist talk at our Venetian branch.
On Saturday, February 28, the usual international crowd of art enthusiasts gathered at La Galleria to listen to the young artists, who spoke about the concepts and technical execution of their innovative works and engaged in conversation with the art lovers.
Beforehand, gallerist and art historian Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen spoke with Liebl and Schmid-Pfähler about the exhibits and their artistic approach.
