The Kiel-born artist Wulf Kirschner has dedicated himself to the infinity of the line, it is his design element par excellence. His main material is shipbuilding steel. With his planar reliefs, he achieves a three-dimensional effect, which can be further developed into a painterly effect through the technique of weld mark images and the resulting colors. Depending on the material the artist uses, his pictures and sculptures can have a colorful, iridescent surface (e.g. in the case of chromium-nickel steel electrodes) or glow in warm earth tones. In Kirschner’s work, one believes to discover written lines, lines from an imaginary book page.

For our Advent event with interactive artist talk – which will take place next Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 12–4 pm in the Cadoro Wulf Kirschner has taken the opportunity to create a series of small-format steel works, which we can already present to you here (see below).

Here you will find our registration form for the two Advent weekends. We look forward to your visit.
