Highlights autumn 2025 – Selected masterpieces from the current exhibitions
The days are getting shorter, the temperatures are dropping, and the Art Cologne autumn fair is already over – there's no denying it: the year is slowly but surely coming to an end. The festive season will soon be upon us, but Cadoro – Center for Art and Science in Mainz continues to present top international art. Our highly acclaimed exhibitions Fabrizio Plessi · Historical Works + Reinventions, Heinz Gappmayr · The Reality of the Imagined and Lore Bert · Towards the Light can still be seen in the spacious exhibition rooms in Hechtsheim until December 17.
And speaking of Christmas: our lovingly designed bazaar area offers affordable small-format works that you can use to treat yourself and your loved ones this holiday season. We look forward to welcoming you in person soon at the Cadoro – Center for Art and Science in Mainz.
Lore Bert from Mainz – internationally renowned for her delicate paper works – is well known to art lovers. Even at the proud age of 89, the artist remains extremely productive and has created 120 of her elaborate picture objects and transparencies in the years 2020–2022 alone — not to mention hundreds of smaller works. In her new exhibition Towards the Light, Lore Bert’s latest works are presented at Cadoro, which also hints at the artist’s major biennial project in 2026.
