Art Düsseldorf takes place from March 31th till April 2nd, 2023.

With over 40,000 visitors annually and enthusiastic voices from gallerists, curators and collectors about the outstanding fair experience, Art Düsseldorf has successfully established its strong profile as a fair for contemporary art. In its fifth edition, Art Düsseldorf once again provides an essential overview of the most important developments in art-historically relevant positions and artistic discourses of the 21st century.

Among the exhibitors, many galleries will be welcomed for the second time. A total of 95 exhibitors are represented at the fair this year. 35 new additions provide variation in the fair schedule. 29 galleries from the region confirm the strong position of the Rhineland. Berlin forms a strong counterweight with 30 galleries, Southern Germany and Austria are represented by 15 galleries and 34 galleries with international locations testify to the Fair's charisma far beyond Germany. This year, galleries from London, Madrid, Lisbon and Copenhagen, from New York, Istanbul, Kolkata and Buenos Aires, among others, will be guests in Düsseldorf.

The high-quality selection confirms Art Düsseldorf's reputation as a dynamic platform for emerging and established galleries, an important place for collectors, discoverers and art professionals.

Galerie Dr Dorothea van der Koelen impresses again this year with a fine and intelligent stand concept as well as internationally renowned star artists. Under the motto Eros and Thanatos, we present works in black, white and red by Lore Bert, the world-famous paper artist from Mainz, the visual poet Heinz Gappmayr, the painter of white Raimund Girke, the Emirati shooting star Mohammed Kazem, the Korean Dansaekhwa artist Nam Tchun-Mo as well as the ZERO artists Turi Simeti from Italy and Günther Uecker from Germany.
