Gottfried Honegger – Bazaar

Last weekend, Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen inaugurated the new exhibition with works by Gottfried Honegger under the title Little Retrospective · Works from 1953–2015 in the Cadoro – Center for Art and Science in Mainz-Hechtsheim. The vernissage was a great success. Art lovers from near and far flocked to Mainz to celebrate with us and to listen to the opening message by Marianne Grosse, head of the culture and building department, and the honorable opening speech by cultural journalist Marianne Hoffmann.

After this successful start – where the focus was naturally on the great and large-format works of the Zurich Concrete – we would like to draw your attention this week to our bazaar area. Because the gallerist Dr. Dorothea van der Koelen has not only carefully curated the works shown in the Cadoro’s spacious and bright exhibition rooms – provided by Cornelia Hesse-Honegger, the artist’s daughter – but also prepared a select selection of smaller works and editions in the Cadoro’s popular bazaar.

Not only during Advent – where we invite all members of the gallery’s circle of friends to a pre-Christmas get-together with coffee and Christmas cookies – our bazaar offers attractive works in small formats for art collectors and art lovers. And members of the Circle of Friends receive particularly advantageous conditions. So if you want to put intellectually stimulating art – or the appropriate literature – in your Easter basket for yourself or your loved ones, you should definitely visit us.
